Here we go!

OK, someone is going to have to tell me the year and theme of this.  This is Dave Smith and co butchering Bikini Kill.  I am going to redo this for whatever theme it fits with next and I call Kathleen Hanna. I think we can all agree that it deserves to be redone since Dave forgot all the lyrics and just screamed. Oh wait, this is Girls Goth Glam, right?
Is this Hardbodies?
Echo and the Bunnymen.  Remember what a dick Scott was in character for this? Remember stabby? I actually have a pic of Stabby (crazy guy who pulled a knife) and I might post it later.
Ground Chuck livin' the dream as King Diamond. Didn't he do this every year for a while? I think it's time to bring this tradition back, theme be damned
Marilyn Manson!
Look how ripped Marilyn is!
What the hell band is this?
Likewise
Look at these two crazy kids! Biz as Rod

  1. I chipped my front teeth falling off the drum kit with the mic in my mouth during that. Kathleen Hanna foiled me again!

  4. Two different years. rod was the 98 british invasion show, 99 was girls, goth and glam.

I will look and see if I have any. It makes me sad I am holding the Nickelodeon camera in one shot yet have no photos of that show on that camera.

  7. I would have liked to have been in the scene during these times. I'm happy to know I went to a loft show at least once in my life, now if only I could remember what happened that night...

  8. I started working on a simple website to collect all the past Halloween show information, pictures, videos, stories, etc.

send me crap but be sure it has which year it happened and i'll throw it on the pages. Also, help fill in the years that are missing and start creating band lists for each year

  9. The picture you have under 2010 Was California's Gold because Huel Howser is there. But I think that happened in 2011, maybe? 2010 was gold records/blockbuster albums. And I think Yacht Rock and Coke rock might have been the same year? I think 2003 or 2004 might've been 90's at Joel's House in Oak Park?

  10. We have a flickr set from 2008 called smooth 70's. http://www.flickr.com/photos/woodgrainlove/sets/72157604648028290/detail

And pictures of DEVO from 2011. So I guess that was blockbuster albums? http://www.flickr.com/photos/woodgrainlove/sets/72157626415372485/

Sorry, I'm just confusing things. But hey, pictures.

  11. Devo was one of my favorites EVER!!!
I love so many but I also have a particular fondness for Morgan as Leonard Cohen because he looked so smooth and the backup singers were genius

  14. I think i can move the halloween site over to a wiki on the server, which should make things easier (at least for me). Also, Soriano said he had some lists of the early years and what bands played

  15. Turns out the wiki thing is pretty easy. Ignore the page I posted earlier and instead go to http://brewznewz.com/sactohalloween/ and see if you can figure out how to add information
